After much consideration, I went with Rosso Amaranto. The headliner was installed by a professional upholsterer. I put POR15 down all over the floors, then Dynamat, and Dynapad on the driver's side as the exhaust pipes are right underneath. The ceiling got Dynaliner to help with heat insulation of that South Florida sun. New carpets were sourced in the U.S. I swapped the dash out with one I found on eBay that had no reserve. $10 for the dash and $40 to ship! All the rubber around the windshield, doors, hood and trunk were replaced.
The rear bumper was replaced with one from a 72 with the license plate lights built-in, as opposed to the big plastic housing normally found above the plates. Rear side markers were eliminated and the front replaced with the European style, round ones. It was a scary moment drilling into the fresh paint for the license plate holder!
I redid all the veneer wood. Somewhere along the way, I sourced a set of BWA wheels and had them professionally restored.
